This thrift store and boutique on West Ocean Avenue is permanently closed. The owner reported it shut down after failing to recruit enough volunteers; the volunteer manager had contributed 50 to 60 hours weekly for two to three years. Before closing, the store offered in-store shopping, accepted credit and debit cards, and had wheelchair accessible entrance and parking. The seniors club continues hosting events for seniors and the community.
Sorry, We are permanently closed. Unfortunately we never had enough volunteers. The volunteer chairman of the seniors club and the volunteer manager volunteered for 50 to 60 hours a week, for 2 to 3 years. The original plan was to have 25 volunteers volunteering 2 hours a week. But that never happened. If we could have had more volunteers then maybe someone could have gone door to door handing out business cards or flyers. The seniors club will continue to put on entertainment events for seniors(50+) and the community. And have special events to support people that need disaster / hardship…
