Backcountry Communities Thriving
Backcountry Communities Thriving (BCT) is a community-based nonprofit organization that advocates, serves and supports Julian residents and the surrounding rural areas. BCT operates Backcountry Connections, a resource center, thrift and consignment shop with a free food pantry. BCT is also the fiscal sponsor and manager for the Julian Fire Safe Council. A community publication, The Julian Voice, is produced and distributed by BCT.
